About Carmen
First and foremost, I'm an emergency nurse. I've dedicated my career to helping people in need, and it's a job that I take very seriously. There's nothing more rewarding than being able to make a difference in someone's life during a time of crisis.
But outside of work, I'm also a wife, mother, and grandmother. My family means everything to me, and I feel incredibly blessed to have them in my life. And as much as I love spending time with my human family members, I'm equally devoted to my furry ones. I have two dogs, Harry and Otto, who bring me so much joy and laughter.
When I'm not working, I enjoy indulging my creative side. Painting is a particular passion of mine, and I love to experiment with different styles and techniques. My other passion in life is travelling, and I find that exploring new places often inspires my art.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I'm excited to see where life takes me next, and I hope that we can continue to connect in the future.
And finally, I'm thrilled to share that I recently completed my debut novel, "Dear Admiral Finnigan". It's been a long journey, but seeing my book come to life has been incredibly rewarding.

Darcy Finnigan is anything but normal. In fact - he is extraordinary. He has been afflicted with both epilepsy and autism throughout his life but is also highly intelligent. Like any young boy, Darcy just longs for normality and acceptance. Being exceptional isn't something he wants.
In order for Darcy to fit in, he requires a medic-alert dog which comes to him in the form of a beautiful golden retriever named Admiral, who is gifted in his own right. With Admiral by Darcy’s side, he feels as if he can do anything.
Dear Admiral Finnigan is a heartfelt story, filled with characters that touch every level of human emotion, and scenes that will leave you laughing, crying, and above all wanting to turn the page.
